The 2016 NECCDC was held at the University of Maine on March 11-13, 2016. This was the third time that the NECCDC was hosted by the University of Maine. The top three finishers in the event were:

  1. Northeastern University
  2. Rochester Institute of Technology
  3. Champlain College

Northeastern University now advances the National CCDC in San Antonio, Texas, which will take place April 22-24, 2016. The Northeast Region wishes Northeastern Univesity success at the National CCDC.

There were more schools interested in participating in the 2016 NECCDC than we had spaces so on January 23, 2016, a qualifying contest was conducted. Unfortunately, some schools were not able to compete because of the very powerful blizzard that hit many parts of the Northeast on that day. The following 10 schools were selected by the qualifying contest and competed at the 2016 NECCDC:

  1. Alfred State University
  2. Champlain College
  3. Northeastern University
  4. Rochester Institute of Technology
  5. Stevens Institute of Technology
  6. SUNY Buffalo
  7. Syracuse University
  8. University of Maine
  9. University of Massachusetts, Boston
  10. University of New Hampshire

We also ran the 2016 NECCDC Symposium with presentations from the participating teams and vendors. Click here for the schedule of talks.
